Our spanish team consists of young Spanish teachers graduated in philology with the appropiate teaching experience. Their preparation and passion to teach Spanish are lived both inside and outside of the classroom.

Spanish Courses are orientated towards communication and action: the main priority is effective communication and correct situational usage. Thanks to a carefully designed programme covering all aspects of language, a great number of different subjects are dealt with in an intensive manner so that maximum progress is guaranteed.

Methodology used by our experienced teachers is focused on direct communicative approaches. As a result of this, our dynamic Spanish courses involve active participation from the students.

The number of students per class of Spanish, between 3 and 8, refinorces this methodology and makes the student-teacher relation close and fluent.

Characteristics of the courses: Spanish Course Description

From 2 weeks to 3 months.
Intensive courses comprise of four hours daily which take place from Monday to Friday. Intensive-plus and Special courses comprise of six hours. In all cases one hour means 45 academic minutes. On national holidays there will be no classes. On regional and local holidays there will be class or extra activities.
The size of each group varies from 3 to a maximum of 8 (average 4.5), so that each student has the opportunity for active participation. Even if the minimum number of participants is not reached, the class will take place, but the time of the class will be decreased.
In Intensive courses up to six different levels are offered at the beginning of each course.
A test taken on the first Monday of the course, together with an informal conversation, will be used to assess your knowledge. Your own self-assessment on the registration form, together with the result of this test will help us to determine which level is most suitable for you. It is usually possible to change levels during the course.
A certificate which confirms the type of course, duration, intensity and level will be awarded to those regularly attending the language course.

INTENSIVE COURSE

Duration: from 2 weeks to 3 months.

Level of Spanish: 6 levels

Groups: from 3 to a maximum of 8 students per class.

INTENSIVE-PLUS COURSE

Hours: 4 h. daily (Intensive course in group) plus 2 hours of individual tuition per day.

Duration: from 2 weeks to 3 months.

Level of Spanish: 6 levels.

You can deepen the subjects of the Intensive course or make your own programme together with your teacher: conversation, grammar, literature, history of art, etc. or also commercial or technical Spanish. You decide the content and the rhythm.

PREPARATION FOR THE D.E.L.E. (Spanish Language Diploma)

Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera, the only officially recognized examination by Spanish Ministry of Education.

Level of Spanish: 3 levels: Inicial, Básico and Superior.

Duration: from 2 to 8 weeks.

Hours: 4 h. daily, Monday to Friday.

Groups: from 3 to a maximum of 8 students per class.

Enrollment for the examinations must be made at least 35 days before the exam in any Spanish Consulate or in our school.
If you do not have the knowledge required to make the D.E.L.E. course, we recommend you previously attend one of our intensive or intensive plus courses.

SPECIAL COURSE

Complementary course to the Intensive course. There are three options:

Spanish and Latin-American Literature
Spanish and Latin-American History or
Commercial Spanish.
Hours: 4 hours daily (Intensive course) plus 2 hours additionally on the subject that you choose.

Level of Spanish: from B1.

Duration: 2, 3 or 4 weeks.

Groups: from 3 to a maximum of 8 students per class.

PRIVATE TUITION. GROUPS.

Duration: from one week on.

Beginning: any time.

Hours: from 2 to 8 units per day. Or individual lessons booked in addition to a course.

Level of Spanish: your own needs.

You decide on the subjects and the contents, when, how long and the frequency of lessons. Before starting, you may wish to send us details of your intentions so that we can plan your programme to suit your requirements.

Groups with similar ability who wish to cover a specific topic (e.g. preparation for an exam, foreign study, technical language, etc.) are also catered for. Please send us details of your requests and we will make you an offer which is suitable for your group.
